Description

This is an ongoing opportunity for individual regular volunteers or members of Friends of Long Hunter SP.  This opportunity will be used to record any Interpretative or Environmental Education duties including but not limited to the following examples:

  • Assist Park Ranger with Interpretive programs by checking in participants, Wrangling participants on hikes and other events and other duties as assigned to help with visitor's experience
  • Assist Park Ranger with school aged participants and their teachers by checking them in before the field trip, wrangling participants during activities and other duties connected to the field trip experience
  • Conducting or co-presenting an interpretive or education program with or without a park ranger

This opportunity will be scheduled by invite only from the Park Interpretive Specialist.  If you are interested in assisting with an upcoming Interpretive or Education program please make arrangements with Leslie.Anne.Rawlings@tn.gov
