Join a Ranger as we work to restore our Doe River habitat to its natural state. We will be removing rock dams that have been created by visitors that result in a loss of food and habitat for many of our aquatic species. Those that do not wish to get in the water will be removing invasive Japanese Knotweed and Multi-flora rose bushes.
Volunteers should expect to be in cool water and are recommended to bring waders, shoes you can get wet, or neoprene socks. Gloves will be provided for this event.
Meeting Location: Shelter 3 within the campground
