We will be completing the new box steps on the Cumberland Nature Trail leading down to the historic dam. Please park in the restaurant parking lot. We will meet at the CCC patio at 8:00am.
Volunteers will engage in service-learning projects such as building, digging, lifting, construction, and clean-up for 4 hours, wear all protective gear recommended or required for the work/service, including but not limited to protective eyewear, gloves, and closed-toed shoes. Volunteers will also be required to stay alert and focus attention during instruction, understand and follow directions and instructions to avoid and/or manage risks, tolerate exposure to the natural elements, including sun/temperature for 4 hours, and perform self-care including maintaining nutrition and hydration.
