Join us at Pickwick Landing State Park to celebrate World Conservation Day by cleaning the shoreline around the marina! We will have kayaks available for water-based cleanup for the first 6 arrivals and shoreline pickup for all other participants.
This event has two start times. The first start time is 7:30 am for a 2-hour volunteer opportunity. The second starts at 9:30 am for a 2-hour volunteer opportunity. You are welcome to volunteer from 7:30 am to 11:30 am or choose a 2-hour time slot.
Please bring a refillable water bottle. A cooler with ice water will be available for refills. Bug spray and sunscreen will also be available.
A Seasonal Interpretive Ranger will meet participants at the park office at 7:30 am and 9:30 am to escort them to their volunteer location. The park office is located at 116 State Park Road, Counce, TN 38326.
