Join us for a rewarding volunteer opportunity on June 30th at 2:30 pm as we embark on a journey to preserve history at Norris Dam State Park. Meet at the horse trailer park lot (across from the entrance to Powerhouse Rd), where we'll kick off our adventure with a hike of approximately 0.25 miles to the historic CCC camp.
Immerse yourself in the legacy of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and lend a hand in restoring this treasured site. From trail maintenance to clearing debris, there's plenty to do as we work together to enhance the park's natural beauty.
No prior experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to make a difference! This volunteer project is expected to last around 2 hours. Please wear closed toed shoes. bring plenty of water, and bring work gloves if you have them. All other tools and equipment will be provided at the site.
