Join us for our very first volunteer workday at Middle Fork Bottoms! We are removing litter from the roadside, around the lakes, and at the future kayak launch.
Thanks to our friends at Toyota and the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF), workday supplies, equipment, and light snacks will be provided. All we need you to bring is a filled reusable water bottle and an enthusiastic attitude.
You are encouraged to apply bug spray since we are working in tall grass and wear sunscreen or a hat to protect yourself from the sun. We should have extra of both in case you need to reapply. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are a must and we cannot have anyone volunteer who shows up in sandals or flip-flops for safety reasons. Long pants and sleeves will also help protect you from the elements and insects.
All ages are welcome, but children who are 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Volunteer waivers are required and can be found here. Completed waivers can be brought to the site on the day of the event.
The meeting spot is the main parking lot.
