Assist park staff in planting trees in honor of Tennessee Tree Day, hosted by the Tennessee Environmental Council! Red Clay has 50 saplings of different species, including river birch and American beautyberry, that need to be planted throughout the park.
We ask that volunteers wear close-toed shoes, bring gloves, bring water and snacks, and bring any tools they may have (must be labeled with their name, items that would be useful include shovels, post-hole diggers, etc.).
Meet at the Visitor Center to get started!
