Beautify Red Clay by picking up litter with park staff! We will target the picnic pavilion & amphitheater, along the roadside, and along the trails.
Gloves and bags will be provided to participants. Trash grabbers are available for use in limited quantities.
Please wear close-toed shoes, bring water and snacks, and dress appropriately for the weather.
The Great American Cleanup began as a litter cleanup initiative designed to aesthetically improve our environment by creating cleaner parks, streetscapes and public spaces through litter removal and elimination. To this day, community cleanups remain at the very heart of the campaign, and the results are remarkable. In 2017 alone, nearly 186 million pounds of litter and debris were collected by volunteers throughout the country.
