*Update*

Due to extreme weather conditions forecast for January 15th, MLK Day of Service has been rescheduled to Sunday, January 21, noon-3pm.

Hello, all! It is once again time to get out there and celebrate Martin Luther King Day by giving back to the community! We hope you take the opportunity to be part of the VERY FIRST Ranger-led event out in our beach-side area of Cypress Creek. We will be cleaning a trail of litter and marking the trail to make it easier to follow. IF we have time, we will begin cleanup in the beach area.

Make sure to dress for the weather. The park will provide gloves, trash grabbers, and trash bags. This particular volunteer event will involve a good bit of walking as well as a very steep hill that we will have to haul the trash up.

We will meet at the Visitors' Center, then follow the Ranger to the clean-up site off of Riverport Road.
