Description

The Weed Wrangle is a statewide & nationwide volunteer event in conjunction with the Garden Club of America that focuses efforts on invasive plant removal or native plant restoration. Volunteers will help tackle the removal of invasive exotic plants while learning the importance of reducing invasive species abundance.

Please join us in removing invasive periwinkle at the historic site of Laurel Furnace!

Meet at the park visitor center at 9am. Bring water, snacks, sturdy closed-toe shoes, gloves and dress for the weather. We will provide tools if needed.
