Description

Join us at Norris Dam to fix up our native flower beds!

Meet at the Park Office (125 Village Green Circle) at 2:00pm on September 16th to revamp our native flowerbeds. These pollinators are very important to our local ecosystem, and to our honeybees that are near the office!

Bring gloves and water, and we would prefer if you wore long pants and close-toed shoes. Prepare to work for 2-4 hours!

First Lady Maria Lee invites Tennesseans to join her in her efforts to transform our state through service. Each month, a new mission will be posted as motivation for us all to roll up our sleeves and serve our communities. September’s monthly challenge is serving Tennessee State Parks!

The National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) is celebrating 30 years of NPLD this year!  It is the nation's largest single-day volunteer event for public lands. Established in 1994 and held annually on the fourth Saturday in September, this celebration brings out thousands of volunteers to help restore and improve public lands around the country.
