Join Rangers and nature lovers across America in celebrating public lands by volunteering on National Public Lands Day! September 23rd 2023 we hope you will join us as we restore Cumberland Mountains State Park's CCC picnic shelter #4! Work will start at 9:00am until 12:00pm. Volunteers will need to pack a lunch and drink (bottled water will be available) and bring gloves. Sturdy hiking-type footwear, and long pants advisable. Park will supply the tools for removing brush, limbs, and undesirable vegetation.
