Mousetail Landing State Park staff have been hard at work repairing and replacing bridges along the 8-mile Eagle Point trail. We are looking for volunteers to help in assisting the park to remove the old bridges that were replaced from the trail. The bridges will be cut up into manageable sized pieces and carried approximately 0.25 miles to a designated area for disposal. The hike will involve difficult terrain, steps, and hiking up and down a small hill to remove the pieces from their location to the disposal area.
Tools, gloves, eye protection, water, and snacks will be provided by the park.
