Upcoming volunteer opportunities!! This is a great way to get TN Hope hours or community service hours! Join Ranger Welch, Ranger Gibbs, and Seasonal Recreator Anna Grace on one or both days to help with cleaning our history wall! As you can imagine, this is a BIG resource management project so we have TWO volunteer opportunities in July 2023 and will be adding more in the coming months!
We will meet at the Visitor Center underneath the train trestle at 4:00 PM on July 16, 2023 and at 7:00 AM on July 29, 2023! Please wear weather-appropriate clothing that you do not mind possibly getting stained and bring water and sunscreen. We do have refillable water stations to refill bottles when needed.
This task involves scrubbing and spraying water along the top of our history wall as well as using a pressure washer to clean the sidewalk. Please contact Codi.Welch@tn.gov with any questions or concerns.
