Tennessee State Parks and Natural Areas will once again partner with The Garden Club of Nashville and Invasive Plant Control, Inc (IPC) to participate in Weed Wrangle® 2023, which is a nationwide event dedicated to eradicating Tennessee of non-native plant species through public education and volunteer plant removal.
Volunteers from across the nation will be helping to remove invasive plants in public spaces.
As stewards of the environment, we want to support our partners in their commitment to this effort and hope you will consider joining us at Cove Lake State Park on March 4, 2023 at 9:00 AM.
This project will last from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM and will focus on removing the exotic and invasive plants located along trail/lake bank.
We will meet at Picnic Shelter 6
Please wear appropriate work attire. Water and gloves will be provided but feel free to also bring your own.

Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at all times
