Hello all! MLK Day has always been a day to help one's community! What better way than to improve upon the community's access to the Great Outdoors!? We offer an opportunity to get out on our beautiful Discovery Loop and clear a large ephemeral stream and maybe even straighten out the bridge that runs across it. Tree limbs have fallen into the large stream, been swept up by the momentary rushing of water, and created a brush habitat that has put too much pressure on the bridge supports! We will simply be transferring the brush habitat out of the stream into another part of the woods. Be sure to bring closed-toe shoes, water, and a snack or two.
