Help with weeding the Wild Yards Garden near the Bluebird Barn at the main entrance of the park. This beautiful area of the park that is a favorite of so many park visitors, photographers, birds, wildlife, and an abundance of pollinators takes a lot of work to maintain. Come lend a hand, get your hands dirty, and pull some weeds with Ranger Stephanie. Volunteers will be given instructions on what weeds to pull and provided with gloves and tools if needed. This volunteer event will run from 8:00am-12:00pm, but volunteers can come for as little or as long as they can. Volunteers are encouraged to bring water with them, but a water fountain is located at the bathrooms nearby if needed for refilling water bottles.
