North Rim Trim

Our North Rim Trail has several Mountain Laurel and/or Rhododendron thickets that need regular trimming. We hope to give the trail a good trim!

Equipment used will mostly consist of pulaskis, rakes, loppers, and hand saws. Any power equipment will be operated by Rangers only. 

Shifts are listed as 7 hours. This is only an estimate. The intention is for this to be an all day event due to traveling to and from the work sites. Extensive hiking will be involved. Bring your own eye protection, hearing protection, and gloves. The park has an inventory of these items but with limited supplies. Wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes. Bring your own food and water, and please dress for the weather.
