The Greeter Falls area of Savage Gulf State Natural Area is a hugely popular destination due to it's scenic waterfall. The increased foot traffic has caused several trails to fall into disrepair and are in need. Park staff and volunteers are planning a small reroute of existing trail at the Greeter Falls area to better serve visitors as they make their way to the waterfall. This project will be outdoors and involve the removal of large stones, roots, and other material. Volunteers will be using hand tools to aid in building native stone structures such as stairs and a retaining wall. Please bring plenty of water, work shoes or boots, and weather appropriate clothing. Meeting area will be the Greeter Falls Parking Lot.
