Girl Scout Volunteer Day in the Butterfly Garden

On Saturday, April 17, 2021, Burgess Falls State Natural Area hosted its annual Girl Scout Volunteer Day in the Butterfly Garden.  Approximately 55 adults and children joined the team at Burgess Falls in the removal of invasive plants, planting of native plants, and remulching of the Butterfly Garden located centrally in the park.  The scouts and their families began at around 9 am and finished off the day around 2 pm.
