Join park staff for a few hours of volunteer work. We plan to conduct trail cleanup along Chickasaw’s Lake LaJoie Trail. This will be a great opportunity for students looking for volunteer hours for the TN Promise program as well as accommodate anyone in search of volunteer hours.
Some tools needed for the volunteer event will be provided to you, but you are welcome to bring tools of your own such as limb loppers, garden rakes and gloves. Please bring a water bottle, snack and bug spray with you if desired. We will start the event at 9am and conclude around noon. Plan to meet at the Lake LaJoie Group Camp located at 2140 Lake LaJoie Rd. Toone, TN 38356.
