Description

Join Ranger Lauren Fagin for a staff-led hike down into the gorge for a river bed clean up day. You will need a good pair of hiking shoes that you do not mind getting wet (flip flops are not recommended), you will also need to bring a backpack, snacks, and water. We will meet at The Cummins Falls State Park Visitor Center to hand out gloves and trash bags, which will be provided by the park. We will be hiking down into the gorge area at the park, collecting trash along the way to and from the base of the falls. We will be carrying the trash in bags back out with us when we leave the gorge area. This event is subject to weather. You must fill out a volunteer waiver in order to participate Please contact Ranger Fagin if you have any other questions or concerns about this event at Lauren.Fagin@tn.gov
