Join us on March 6th at Pinson Mounds Archeological Park for our annual Weed Wrangle! The Weed Wrangle is an annual, one day event focused on reducing invasive species and their impact on our parks. Events like this help us to make sure we keep Pinson in great condition so that it can stand another 2000 years!
This event will get started by meeting at the museum at 9:00am, and end around 12:00pm. We appreciate all volunteers, whether you are helping for one hour or all day! Be sure to register for this event as we will be handing out gloves and setting up tasks based on expected numbers. Also, be sure to wear work ready clothing and shoes. Refillable water bottles are encouraged as well.
We will be keeping our social distancing, staying in small groups and wearing masks to follow all state and local mandates.
