Join park staff for a day of habitat management at Window Cliffs State Natural Area. Meet in the Window Cliffs parking lot at 9am. We have a healthy population of shortleaf pine on the backside of our burn unit. We will be working to clear out the understory trees in the area. We will have to walk to the area that we will be working in, which will be about a .5 mile hike. The area we will work at is located on a very steep slope. Please wear/bring closed-toe shoes, water, and snacks. All tools and PPE required will be provided by park staff.
