We are looking for up to 12 volunteers to help trim and improve trail corridor along White Oak Flats and Headwaters Trail for our upcoming Bear Track Trail run. This event will be held on Friday, May 29 from 9:00AM – 2:00PM. It is possible we will finish early if we get a full crew to help. This event includes hiking, string trimming and lopping the trail corridor. The park has extra loppers and some gloves. The park has a couple string trimmers however volunteers are welcome to bring a gas weed trimmer and mixed fuel if they choose. We will meet at the trail parking lot for a safety meeting.
It is recommended to bring water and snacks, sunglasses, sunblock, closed-toed shoes. Please dress for changing weather in the mountains.
