Looking to assist in a history-based park event? Sign up to help programmers bring the Tennessee Frontier to life. Program assistance includes:
- Frontier Fabric Arts (mini looms)
- Food Preservation (pickling, canning, jerky, etc.)
- Frontier Pharmacy (medicinal plants)
- Medicinal Plant Hike
- Long Hunter Fur Trade (pelts)
- Frontier Fun (frontier games)
Volunteers may choose a program they would like to stay with throughout the event, be "runners," or assist in parking. Volunteers will meet at the Back Boat Ramp. For specific questions, reach out to event coordinator Ranger Abby (abigail.wiseman@tn.gov).
