Now in its 12th year, the statewide Weed Wrangle® is a volunteer effort dedicated to rescuing our public parks and green spaces from non-native invasive species. Through hands-on removal of particularly plants, Weed Wrangle® volunteers learn, practice, and develop a habit of maintaining areas free of non-native invasive plants.
This event involves moving through uneven terrain and grassy areas to remove Japanese Stilt Grass. We will meet at our Visitor Center at the beginning of each shift to provide gloves, rakes, and bags for volunteers.
