Volunteer Event: Wetland Clean-up

Join Seasonal Interpretive Ranger Jewell at the Reelfoot Lake Eagle Basin Day Use Area on Thursday, January 22nd to help us clean up trash around part of Reelfoot Lake! We highly recommend dressing warmly and bringing waders or muck boots if you have them--we'll be walking through some mud and water. Adult Supervision is required for those under 15 years of age. This volunteer event will be cancelled in the event of severe weather or temperatures below 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

Participants are welcome to leave early or stay for the duration of the event. Please be advised that we will be walking through parts of wetlands, navigating around cypress knees and tall grasses.
