Join Seasonal Interpretive Ranger Jewell at the Reelfoot Lake Nature Center on Saturday, December 6th to celebrate Wildlife Conservation Day and help clean up trash underneath the boardwalk trail! We highly recommend dressing warmly and bringing waders or muck boots if you have them--we'll be walking through lots of mud and water. Adult Supervision is required for those under 15 years of age. This volunteer event will be cancelled in the event of severe weather or temperatures below 20 degrees Fahrenheiteit.
Participants are welcome to leave early or stay for the duration of the event. Please be advised that we will be walking through the wetland itself, navigating around cypress knees and tall grasses.
