Exotic Plant Removal at Cummins Falls

Come on out to Cummins Falls to help manage our invasive ailanthus population. Ailanthus or "Tree of Heaven" is a very aggressive growing invasive tree we have on the park. We need volunteers to help us manage the populations of these trees because they outcompete native plants for water and sunlight. Work alongside park staff to help remove this problem tree. Long sleeved shirts and long pants and bottled drinking water is recommended. Tools will be provided for you by park staff. We will meet at the visitor center before departing at 9:00 A.M.
