Help us remove some invasive species bordering Elk Creek at the park, creating a healthier and more suitable space for our native plants and animals! We'll be fighting species such as Oriental bittersweet, Chinese privet, and Autumn olive. Each of these plants will quickly take over an area, and they are especially prevalent at the park.
All supplies such as gloves and clippers/cutting tools will be provided by the park. This will be a 2-hour event. Please make sure to bring enough water and wear appropriate clothing for the task. The area we will be working on is a tree line against Elk Creek close to the main parking area of the park, so no traversing through trails for this event.
Participants will be asked to fill out a volunteer/liability form if they haven't completed the one associated with their Galaxy Digital account.
