Join the Ranger as we work to restore the natural habitat of the Doe River right here in Roan Mountain State Park! Help us as we work to remove rock dams and stacks along the river to help protect vital habitat for trout, hellbenders, darters, and so many more! Hear from the Ranger and learn why we say, "Don't Dam the Doe!"
Volunteers should make sure to bring plenty of water, clothes to get wet, waders/water-shoes if you have them, and gloves.
