Invasive Species Workday

Love history and the great outdoors? Join seasonal ranger Hughston and intern Abby for an Invasive Species Workday at Fort Loudoun Historic Park! We'll be removing invasive species to help protect the park's natural beauty and significance. Meet us at the Tellico Blockhouse at 9:00 AM, and be a part of preserving both nature and history! Be sure to bring gloves and water.

Directions: 149 Blockhouse Road, Vonore, TN 37885
-From Maryville: Traveling south on Highway 411, enter Monroe County and turn left onto Clearview Drive, turn right onto Tellico Blockhouse Road, follow the road ~.25 mile to the parking lot.  If you reach Highway 360 you've gone too far.
-From Vonore: Traveling north on Highway 411, drive through Vonore and across the bridge, turn right onto Clearview Drive, turn right onto Tellico Blockhouse Road, follow the road ~.25 mile to the parking lot.
