Warriors Path will be hosting a volunteer lake clean up on Fort Patrick Henry Reservoir on July 8. The summer gets busy in these parts, especially around the 4th of July. Unfortunately, litter sometimes ends up in the lake after these busy times. We are going to do what we can to keep our park looking beautiful and remove as much trash as we can. We will be looking for at least 10 volunteers to hop in a kayak and help us out. The park can provide up to 10 kayaks, paddles, and life jackets for this event. If you have your own gear/equipment, then you are welcome to use it. If you are not comfortable in a kayak, we can certainly use help on dry land as well.
Time: 8:30am-11:00am
Park will also provide grabbers, and gloves.
Please bring plenty of water and any other snacks that you might want.
