We will be working in teams to remove Chinese privet from the Trail of Tears roadside and portions of the Port Royal townsite. No experience necessary. Gloves and tools will be provided by the park. Please wear closed-toe shoes and skin-protective clothing. Expect to encounter insects.
We will meet at the main parking lot at 3300 Old Clarksville Hwy. at 9:00a.m. There will be a sign-in sheet and an overview of our work goals. The event will be cancelled in the event of bad weather.
