It takes only one person to make a mess, but a group to clean it up. We will be working with WATeR, Watershed Association for the Tellico Reservoir, by picking up litter and debris along the shoreline.
Please wear appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes; the lake is down and it can be muddy. Bring work gloves and water. Trash bags will be provided. Meet Ranger Baghetti at the shed at McGhee-Carson WMA.
Directions:
From Vonore, turn onto Highway 360; drive for approximately 1.75 miles; as soon as you cross the causeway turn left onto the McGhee-Carson WMA, there's a brown sign; the shed is at the end of the road.
