Description

The Wolf River Restoration Series, presented annually by Brother International, returns on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

Our 2025 MLK Service Event will be held at T.O. Fuller State Park.

T.O. Fuller State Park was the first state park open for African Americans east of the Mississippi River.  Founded in 1938, it was designated T.O. Fuller State Park in 1942 in honor of Dr. Thomas O. Fuller, a prominent African-American educator, pastor, politician, civic leader and author. T. O. Fuller State Park works to preserve the park's history and demonstrate how early park development fits within the context of the African American civil rights movement in Tennessee.

Our MLK Day of Service conservation efforts will include:

  • Hiking trial restoration
  • Playground surface renewal
  • Invasive species removal

Join Wolf River Conservancy as we mark the holiday by working together to revitalize this historic part of Memphis and the Wolf River Watershed.
