Tims Ford State Park

Located on and around Tims Ford Lake, Tims Ford State Park
sits in the shadows of the Cumberland Plateau in southcentral
Tennessee. Tims Ford Lake is considered one
of the most picturesque lakes in Tennessee and is
regarded as one of the top bass fishing and recreational
lakes in the Southeast.
Tims Ford State Park protects and interprets the natural, cultural, and scenic areas that are found within it, and provide the opportunity for a variety of outdoor experiences for the park's visitors. Tims Ford State Park shares the story of the land before the development of the lake and the Park. Tims Ford State Park interprets the history of the land and the people that were affected by the development of the reservoir, and how it impacted their lives. Tims Ford State Park interprets the flora and fauna of the region and the role that Tims Ford State Park plays in its protection and conservation.
