Volunteer: Trail Friend - Savage Gulf/Greeter Falls (2025)

Through Friends of the Parks at South Cumberland & Savage Gulf, volunteer must have completed two shadow sessions and passed the online Trail Friends quiz, and wear their Trail Friends gear during their shifts. Trail Friends greet and answer a range of visitor questions, encourage safety on the trails including proper footwear, water supply, dogs on leashes. Trail Friends are encouraged to get visitor feedback regarding any potential trail safety issues (downed trees across trail, mud slicks, etc), campground conditions, etc. Safety issues and emergencies are to be reported in post-shift survey and to Trail Friends Coordinator.
