Join Scott's Gulf Wilderness park staff at the Virgin Falls trailhead at 10am on September 18th for TN Serves & National Public Lands Day! We will be working on the main trail to Virgin Falls.
Volunteers should be prepared to spend roughly 3 hours in the woods utilizing hand tools to clear rocks, roots, and limbs. Volunteers should be prepared to hike up to 3 miles with hand tools. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather. Closed toed, sturdy hiking shoes and pants are highly recommended.
Please also bring plenty of water, snacks, lunch, and anything else you might need for a day out on the trail!
