We hope to expand the campground at Savage Falls by reopening some of the old sites damaged in the 2018 tornadoes. Rangers will use power equipment (i.e. chainsaws) and volunteers will help us by swamping cut wood and clearing away smaller brush, grasses, soils, and miscellaneous other needed improvements and repairs. May entail hard manual labor, including lifting heavy objects. Volunteers should bring their own personal protective equipment (such as gloves, hearing protection, etc) as park supplies are limited.
