We have several tasks that we could use assistance completing!
- Weeding the flower beds and around the kiosk(s)
- Placing gravel to prevent erosion near the campground
- Erosion control / mitigation on the trails
- Repair of Savage Falls Campground
- Cutting back encroaching foliage on the trails with clippers and handsaws
- Swamping (moving cut logs/limbs) that Rangers cut with chainsaws
- Removing silt from underground fed springs near campgrounds
What we do on a given day depends on how much we have previously accomplished and the skill and ability levels of volunteers.
As with all outdoor events, it is weather permitting.
Tools will be supplied, but please bring your own gloves, eye protection, food, and water.
