Join park staff for a morning of volunteering to clean-up litter and remove invasive plant species from areas of the park. The volunteers will have to choice of cleaning up litter from one or two different areas near the Maple Leaf Barn or helping cut and remove invasive plant species from the areas surrounding the Maple Leaf Barn. Tools and supplies will be provided for litter pick-up and invasive plant removal. Please plan on meeting Ranger Stephanie at the main parking lot off Kelly Lane, preferably at the end by the closed gate by 9:00am. Volunteers will be able to carpool into the park following Ranger Stephanie to the site where we will be working. Any volunteers that arrive later than 9:00am should call the park office to notify park staff that they need to be escorted down to the worksite. Please bring water, appropriate footwear and clothing, and any tools/gloves that you wish to use if you have them.
