Seven Islands park staff is looking for volunteers to help pull and remove Johnsongrass, one of the more prevalent and pesky invasive species found in the park. Volunteers will be working alongside park staff to hand pull as much Johnsongrass from beside the paved ADA Trail starting at the Bluebird Barn area. Please bring workgloves with you if you have them, but some will be available if needed. Volunteers should plan on bringing a water bottle and sunscreen with them since we will be working in full sun along the trail.
Please plan on meeting Ranger Nate by the Bluebird Barn at 8:00 AM to get instructions.
