Keep America Beautiful's Great American Clean Up program is a national event that takes place anytime between March 20 and June 20. Come out to Seven Islands State Birding Park from 9am-12pm on Saturday, March 27 to help clean up the trails and shorelines of the park. Park staff will provide garbage bags and latex gloves for any volunteers that want to help pick up litter. This litter pick up event is not limited to dry land, so if you feel adventurous you can clean up the shorelines by kayak, canoe, paddle board, or fishing boat!
Any interested volunteers should plan on meeting Ranger Stephanie at the boat launch off Kelly Lane by 9am. Let us know that you're planning on joining us for this program by registering ahead of time.
