Volunteers who are looking to assist Roan Mountain State Park identify and record pollinator species in our pollinator fields are asked to attend a training session before registering for a volunteer shift. This will give volunteers the skills they need to photograph species and log them into iNaturalist for mobile devices. During training sessions, volunteers are asked to bring a smart phone or laptop, a camera (phone camera is great), and any note taking materials you may need. Training sessions will be conducted monthly at the Roan Mountain State Park office. Register below for a date that works for you.
