During this event, more points will be awarded for each piece of litter cleared. Each volunteer will also receive 10 points each just for participating. Free Stickers and Buttons will also be provided to those who sign up. Ranger Logan will be providing more information before the start of the tour. If you have any questions, please call us at (423)-478-0339. We look forward to seeing you soon!

The annual National Public Lands Day celebration is the largest single-day volunteer effort for America’s public lands. A signature event of the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF), NPLD brings out hundreds of thousands of volunteers on the fourth Saturday in September to assist land managers with environmental projects designed to enhance and restore national parks, recreation areas, wildlife refuges, and other public lands and waters.
