Description

NEEF’s National Public Lands Day:

NPLD is the nation's largest single-day volunteer event for public lands. Established in 1994 and held annually on the fourth Saturday in September, this celebration brings out thousands of volunteers to help restore and improve public lands around the country.

TN Serves:

First Lady Maria Lee invites Tennesseans to join her in her efforts to transform our state through service. Each month, a new mission will be posted as motivation for us all to roll up our sleeves and serve our communities. September’s monthly challenge is serving Tennessee State Parks!

Please Join us and these great causes to support Tennessee State Parks.

This event will be focused on repairing water erosion damage on sections of the Paw Paw Trail. Be prepared to assist in moving rocks and prepared to use various hand tools to reroute or repair affected sections of the trail.

Please bring water, gloves, closed-toe shoes, and wear appropriate clothing.

We honor TN Promise Hours as well.
