Are you a college student looking for volunteer hours? Come out to Port Royal State Historic Park on June 25th, 2022 and participate in Tennessee State Park's TN Promise Saturday! Throughout the day, volunteers have the chance to help protect and maintain different cultural resources within the the site! This includes removing invasive species from the National Trails Trail of Tears Northern Route Historic Roadbed, repairing boundary fences within the historic downtown area, or removing graffiti from our Sulphur Fork Wrought Iron Bridge, which was listed on the National Register in 2020!
**These opportunities all include outdoor, labor intensive work. Please ensure you bridge appropriate clothing and water bottles so that you stay comfortable and hydrated throughout the day!
