Invasive species never stop invading!
Join us at the Lodge as we continue to make headway in slowing invasive plants as they advance on our native habitat. Non-native plants disrupt the food chain by replacing native food sources. These foods are important to our songbird populations as well as providing the base of a healthy food chain.
Volunteers will use garden tools (provided) to cut and pile shrubs, small trees and vines that will be removed by park staff.
Please wear close-toed shoes, bring water, and wear clothing that will protect you from briars, sun and insects. Children over 12 years old are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
Required forms to participate are located on the registration site for you to download.
